how to check ignition switch

how can i test my ignition switch to see if i need to replace? my concern is that i'm getting no spark to my distributor and i've already gone through a system check chart on how to diagnose the no spark.

tests i've completed lead me to either a few choice wires or connection at the ignition switch.

Re: how to check ignition switch

turn the ignition switch to the accessory position and see if you have power at the pink wire on the coil.
