350 TPI. No spark
Car was running perfectly fine, no hard starts or anything out of ordinary. Next day it wont start. The first thing I did was try a new ign coil which was a no go. After that I got a new ICM ( since I hear they tend to go out often and I had mine go out over the summer when I had the car out of town and no way home. )
The car started and ran at this point but it was extremely rough ( The entire car shook ) had a fluctuating idle ( from the very low 100s to around 1k ) it backfired and wanted to die if I gave it any gas. ( I took it around the block hoping that the engine simply needed to run for a minute since Its cold now and it was sitting for 2 weeks. )My first thought was that the firing order was simply wrong or the wires needed to be replaced
After replacing the wires, it now, will not start again. I've checked, double checked and triple checked the firing order and to make sure they were all securely connected on both ends.
The car also has a new rotor ( which was installed along with the new wires ) and the old rotor cap is still in good condition. I've also checked these to make sure that they were installed correctly.
The only relevant idea I have left is to replace the spark plugs or ign coil ( returned the one I bought after trying it with no success ) but the chances of multiple spark plugs failing all at once ( literally overnight ) seems very far fetched to me. ( along with both the ICM and Ign Coil failing at the same time )
I'm not very knowledgeable yet ( being my first car and its my DD with no backup car so I can't just start tearing into it when I please. ) but I REALLY don't want to take it to a shop. That being said I'm not a complete idiot, but I don't want to just go ripping things apart nor do I have the money to just throw parts at it.

One thing at a time, remember the word "wire" in spark wires is miss leading there isn't any wire, twisting, pulling, and piercing can easily damage them. But, don't worry about those for now.
Test the pickup coil in the distributor for 500-1500 ohms, also check it's connections.

Pickup coil connections are good. I haven't checked it with any type of reader though. I'll have to do that. Thanks.

Sorry I never posted back here. Turns out, the pickup coil connections were NOT good as I had previously thought. Those in turn, fried the distributor. Replaced that, the Pickup coil and ICM and the car is running good again.
