1989 Trans Am stalling, please help!
I recently picked up my first third gen, its a 1989 Trans Am with about 95k miles on it. When I got it about 2 months ago it was running fine, no stalling, no rough idle, but lately it began stalling out, sometimes at stoplights, sometimes right after starting it up. The RPMs chug around 500, and it chunks down below 500 and then struggles back up, or dies. I have to keep my foot on the gas a tiny bit to keep it alive. I recently changed the oil, put a new filter on, changed the fuel filter, put new coolant in, ran Sea Foam through, and ran fuel injector cleaner through. Any ideas on what the problem is? If I'm not specific enough I apologize, I'm pretty new to the car and don't exactly know everything there is to know.
Also, and I don't know if it is related, my car sort of loses power when I accelerate, and the "check engine" flickers on. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I know winter is coming up, but its my daily driver and I need a reliable car!

Try to get the codes, use a paperclip at the aldl connector, jump the a & b terminals & watch the flashes. Search the net for the terminals to jump (picture).
You might have a bad throttle postion sensor, low fuel pressure, dirty idle air control motor, or a sticky egr valve.
