Car: 1983 daytona pace car
Engine: crossfire
Transmission: world class 5 speed
83 cfi trans am fuel sending unit ?

pretty strait forward question here. i need a fuel sending unit for my 83 cfi but all vendors that i look up say they have it for a 85-92 will a 85-92 unit work in my car?

If I'm not mistaken (and I'm pretty sure I'm not), you can use just about any fuel injected pump that you want. Just don't use a carburated fuel pump; the pressure is WAY to low for FI.

Just find which in tank, or external tank, pump you want and have fun.
