when the car is cold its fine shifts great but the speedo and odometer dont work. then the car gets warmed up 180-190* it does what i recorded. my interior lights dont work ether

is that black wire the G200 ground wire? if so i need a new one. can i spice in a new piece if i get the same size ground wire(which size btw) and heat shrink the conections? my cars weatherstripping on the driver side is leaking next to the dash could this cause these problems from the vid and my lights? its also causing some rust issues in the driver floor pan. im buying a new body harness from a 91 z28 my car is a 92 rs is it an plug up and go swamp im also geting the gauge cluster. any help would be great.

Its pretty hard to tell in the video, and you havent given a very descriptive description of whats happening and when, so its kinda hard to help. I see that in the video it doesnt go past 50, kinda like a governor. Does it start bogging down like its a fuel related problem? Does it do this in any other gears? Ever stalled out? And it never does that when cold?

I noticed the service engine soon light is on, have your ran the codes?

 

^^^ in the video it looks like it won't go above 50 mph but that's jus how the speedo is reading. I was going about 60 mph the whole time. It's not bogging down it seems like my trans is slipping back into a lower gear. It will be in 4th gear (when the tach is reading below 3,000 rpm) then it seems like it slips into 3rd gear on it's own (when the tach jumps above 3,000 rpm) all on it's own while I'm applying constant gas. It has never stalled and never when it's cold. When it's cold the speedo and the odometer don't work at all until it gets up to operating temp then the speedo moves around like it is in the video.
The ses is on because it has an exhaust leak at the passenger manifold gasket. But no I never ran the codes.
Is that black wire coming from under the dash accross the floor into the center console, is that the speedo cable or the g200 ground wire? (the pic in my 2nd post) The one in my car is damaged from water pooling in the driver floor pan. It only needs a 5inch section cut and spliced in tho.

First get the codes to see what it/ they are. Some parts stores will read them for free if you do not own a scanner. or you can jumper terminals on the data connecter and read the blinking pattern of the engine light.
