rockers and valve covers
im about to build a 383 and i want to retain my current valve covers that came on my 89. will the COMP pro mags fit under them? my other rocker optionare these: http://www.compperformancegroupstore...Category_Code=
my concern is a taller VC will hit the pos stud on the back of my alt, atleast it appears it will. the other reason i want my stockers is i like the silver color and it will go with the MR intake as im going for the cast aluminum look.

Re: rockers and valve covers
Doubt it...
The Poly-Locks won't fit underneath them; and the tube things that the bolts go through, won't fit between the trunnions.

Re: rockers and valve covers
Im running Scorpion SA narrowbody rockers under my stock vortec valve covers. No problems with the polylocks. Not sure on the comps though especially like sofa mentioned with the bolt tubes. Pretty sure you would have to have a narrowbody rocker.

Re: rockers and valve covers
what would you sugguest i use if the stockers dont work? i'm using the RHS alum heads so if it comes down to it i can use something else like parimiters, my issue is the charging stud on back of the alt. if it wasnt there then i wouldnt have any issues. i figure the stud will touch any other VC.
maro, i'll look into the scorpions and see what my cost is at work. if the stocks dont work due to rocker reasons and i can clear the alt stud i would like to use our RHS VCs.
