usually that means Pro Comps, but at least its better than the old smogger heads most people think are fast.

Yeah I know what you mean, but every now and then you get the "Corvette aluminum heads" deal, and that's when things get interesting.

ok reviving old thread. alot has gone on since last years pathetic car run. im going to list what i currently have on the vehicle, so hopefull i can get into the 12s. any comments/input welcome.

posi unit with 3.73 gears and 28 spline axles
drag radials 275/60/15
subframe connectors
nos 125 shot (only if needed to go faster )
accell spark plugs .35 gap
msd 8.5 mm wires
accell cap and rotor
hei distributo with vac advance disconnected
msd ignition
d.u.i. coil
th350 trans 2800 stall
and cars about 3300-3250 pounds est.
am i getting anywhere with this build? i be happy with 12.99-12.75 and use nos to get lower
