350 headers work on an lt1?
I was in a local shop today and they have a set of shorty headers off a 350 in there for sale for $25 and I want them for my upcoming lt1 build. Will they work on my lt1? They are oval or circle ports.

Not unless they're for d port exhaust heads, like vette l98s, zz4s, and somee aftermarket heads. So more than likely no they wont

Sorry I reread your post and you already stated what ports they were. So no they won't just blow your gaskets off

You can have some port mismatch and still be ok. regular headers are typically an oval shape or rectangular with rounded corners. Check to see how much port it covers. As long as it covers most of the port, it should be ok. LT1 does have D-ports and should use a D-port shaped exhaust flange tho.
