Question about a/c/smog removal.

Hey guys.

My a/c froze up and so I'm in the process of removing it and my smog. Quick question though. There is three serp. pulleys in the molding that holds the a/c and smog. There's one on the a/c unit, one the on the smog and one little one in the corner. I'm guessing you're not supposed to remove the entire molding and just the smog and a/c, eliminating just two pulleys? I'm planning on buying a shorter belt, but would I need to use the small pulley? I'm not really sure what it does, so maybe someone could clear it up for me.

Thanks.

Re: Question about a/c/smog removal.

Is there anyone not running a pulley? I would like to avoid this at all possible. I would even leave the smog in there if someone could give me the belt size for just the a/c delete. Does anyone have a belt size for these deletes? I've searched the forum everywhere and can't find a sure-fire answer.
