Help! - Anyone Know What This Sensor Is?
I'm in the process of installing a set of Hedman Headers and ran into an unknown sensor on the drivers side head. I previously removed all emission and computer controls. I'm hoping this is a remanent that I didn't see and can remove it. It's on an 1984 Camaro 305.
If you know what it is, please let me know it's function and if it is in the water jacket.

It is in a water jacket and is the sending unit for your dash temp gauge.

OK thanks, but I thought that the sender in the intake manifold was for the water temp gage? What is that one for then?

that one is for the ECM (computer), there is a third coolant temp sensor in the passenger head that controls the aux fan
