too much crankcase pressure

my 82 fbird 2.5 like to blow oil out and engine fumes
first it was just the air breather(rings arent bad cause theres no oil on my plugs)

then i rigged an oil catch can from the valve cover hole where the air breather would go
now its so bad its blows my pcv valve(replaced twice to see if that was problem) out of its grommet so when im driving i got smoke coming out underneath my hood
it also blows my dip stick up making oil come out of there

HELP!! ive never had this happen before is there any solution

That doesn't mean much. Compression can be pushing down past the rings into the crankcase. You could also have worn valve guides. Piston is moving up only when the exhaust valve is open so you could have worn exhaust guides.

Do a compression test, dry and wet. Do a cylinder leakdown test. Without that diagnostic information to pinpoint where the problem may be, a guess is just a guess.

Re: too much crankcase pressure

The lower oil control rings scrap excess oil off the cylinder walls. If a compression ring isn't gapped properly or is broken, cylinder compression will be forced past the ring and into the crankcase. It's very unlikely oil will move up past the rings to foul up a plug unless the rings or cylinder walls were in very poor condition.

Without testing, there's no telling what may be causing the problem. Maybe a head gasket is leaking into the lifter valley. I blew one out a few years ago and noticed that the crankcase pressure was higher than normal. I switched to a MLS gasket and never looked back to a composite gasket.

Re: too much crankcase pressure

You replaced the PCV valve but did you check to see if the the line that connects it to the intake is plugged or collapsed?

Re: too much crankcase pressure

I had the same issue... Went through the PCV system and everything... Did a compression check and showed low compression in 2 cylinders. I pulled the engine apart and everything looked good until I pulled the rings off the pistons and watched 3 of them fall apart.
