roller tip rockers?
im thinking of using some 1.6 roller tip rockers on my otherwise stock engine.it is a oe roller lifter motor already .so im thinking why not? does anyone know if they will fit with no mods? stock valve covers too?

Yes, except for possibly needing to lengthen the push rod holes toward the studs.
Stock valve covers, of course; as long as the Poly-Locks (if you use them) aren't too tall.

Not sure the poly lock version will work with stock covers but i ran the roller tip only style from comp cams, the magnums. They worked well on my L98. I didnt do anything to the push rods or the slots and not sure if they rubbed. Never checked. Did see some power gains. 8whp on a very lean tune. More tuning it should have picked up a good bit more. It wanted more fuel after the rockers. Air fuel dropped from mid 12's to 1 to low 14's to one and the only thing I changed was underdrive pulleys, injectors and rockers. Some of the air fuel difference I feel was from injectors not spraying the same even tho the chip was tuned for them.
