how much will it cost...

how much will it cost for me to do the bottom end on a 5.7l 350 tpi engine, i believe its the 240hp corvette motor. it has a knock.

That's pretty much an infinite range of possibilities since your bottom end parts have not been inspected by a machinist at this point.
After inspection you determine what and how you're going to fix it, or if reconditioning/rebuilding is worth it to get what you're after.

It's also going to depends on how much of the work you would be doing yourself. There are a lot of little expenses that add up.

At this point the only prices you can be sure of is if you buy a complete replacement short block.

all depends on what you want/need done. And the shop you take it to, if it needs machineing. Easiest thing to do is find out what exactly you are doing, call a machine shop for their prices then look all parts up on summit, thatll give you a close idea to what you will be spending.

I cant buy the car anymore he sold it today, I almost have my car sold, who would of though i got 4 replys and i posted it 24hrs ago. Hopefully it sells before the trans am I am looking at does.
