305 Engine help!

I have a 92 Camaro RS with a 305. Im trying to take the heads off and i have ran into a problem. The bracket that holds the power steering pump and alternator will not come off the head. All bolts are stripped. The 2 bolts going into the head and bolt going into the block itself is stripped. I have tried bolt grip sockets and they didnt fit, along with trying to drill them out but its to small of a space. Im thing of cutting it off or hammer it out but i dont know! Im truly stuck can anyone help me?!

The bolt heads are stripped? Do you know anyone w/ a welder? They can try welding larger nuts over the stripped heads.

All the bolt heads are out but its the bolts that are holding on that bracket that are stripped. There T slot bolts size T-40 believe.

The nuts are off the studs? Can you double up nuts on the studs & try to turn them out.

Re: 305 Engine help!

if original, the brackets are held on by large torx screws.

you will need room so out comes the radiator and associated hoses

I just pounded in the larger torx bit, connected my ratchet handle and was able to get mine. I of course tossed them and replaced with bolts
