Have a 90 iroc z that valves knocks and pings when I accerlrate"even when I run 93 octane.engine lite comes on after a couple miles.any help would be apperciated!

Have you pulled the codes? Offhand it sounds like a timing issue.

Nah not yet I was today at buddys"he"s got the reader and the light ddnt come on til I had left"but gonna try to ride around b4 heading to his shop"any ideas why it be running great and then all the sudden the lite comes on??
