Replace motor mount insert or whole mount?
I'm getting ready to install my 383 soon, planned on buying the motor mount inserts and replacing them.
I have no interest in a solid motor mount, but I did see some kits on Summit's website that come with brackets and inserts. Just wondering if it's necessary to get that because the stock brackets wear out or break over time? Should I wait until the motor is out and inspect them before making my decision?

Re: Replace motor mount insert or whole mount?
The brackets don't really wear, so changing the inserts is generally a viable option.
Odds are, the car needs mounts. They always do. No sense in waiting or inspecting; move directly to doing.
