Large hose that goes...nowhere?

I was poking around in the engine today, and noticed this. It's not capped off, and leads to a canister I believe under the alternator? Any advice on this is appreciated.

AIR injection emission hose. I'm not familiar with the routing on the V6 but it would go to either the exhaust manifolds or the catalytic converter.
