engine harness question

I have a 1989 305 tbi that had an engine fire at the distributor. I found a 1990 harness that isn't butchered. I want to replace the harness instead of repairing. Is this a drop in part? How do I go about pulling it out? Any quick responses will earn brownie points, so I can be wrist deep in the car before my fiance comes home and tried to drag me to the mall! !!!!!!!!! Thanks guys.

Maybe the electronics dept would be a better choice
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/electronics/

or the TBI dept given you are asking about a specific engine setup
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tbi/

Putting TBI harness in your header might help attract TBI owners also

Re: engine harness question

I put it in electronics, but general engine has way more people viewing, so I can get more looks, and hopefully from some one who had the same issue. I figured because in replacing the entire engine harness, it would be accepted as general engine. I should put it in the tbi section though. Do the mods move it or should I repost?

Awesome, I didn't want to buy a harness that wouldn't work. Thanks!
