need help built 355

got an 84 ta from grandpa been sitting 8 years got home ok but now running terrible backfire through carb and sounds like vacuum from dist but dont see anything leaks black plugs where do i start plugs ? carb? dis?

Tune up, fix vacuum leaks, replace filters, fresh gas, oil,set timing,ect..

do you no what timing should be and when you say tune up plugs, wires, oil ,and what else

Major service.
Check everything is 100% , many things to get rotten or corrode with age
Replace as needed
