Before anyone says anything, I did search. Every thread I found was about people who had this problem at idle.

My problem is that it'll happen at idle in drive or park, but also happens while I'm driving. It is very loud! It is no where near a consistently occurring sound. For instance, I moved the car from the driveway to the back yard, and it happened. On the way to work today, it was fine.

So my questions are, what could it be! It sounds like its coming from the driver's side. I do not believe there are any loose shields. And also why would it be on and off like that. When it happens, and I Rev it it doesn't go away as you would think.
