My car 85 trans am 350 has been running great but i took a vacation for 2 weeks and left a interior light on, i know dumb. anyway my battery was dead as can be. Autozone recharged it for me I put it in my car but it wont start now barley. I keep cranking it givin it gas etc.. once in awile it will start run for 30 sec, and die and wont restart. Its only started twice in the past 4 hours briefly. When its not starting it has no spark but i guess it gets it briefly? thanks

 

Don't trust that recharged battery, replace it. It'll always give you problems now. Also have them check your alternator. If your battery is is dead, the car relies on the alternator to run things. As long as the alternator is good, it'll run the car until you shut it off (everything else equal you said the car was running great). If it's not staying running, I'd suspect the battery and alternator. Also with keeping cranking it, giving it gas etc, you might be flooding it which of course will keep it from cranking over.

 

Well it's the fact that it will crank forever without starting, try it again it runs then dies, and won't start it will crank forever though, it's just very random I'm not flooding it, spark just comes and goes
