modified MAF and now running bad
hi guys
i modified my MAF last week cutting it up and putting it into a 3.5 incs tube on a cold air intake. really happy with how its all worked out but when u fire the car up the idles bad tends to jump around a bit and some times stalls. if u give it a little rev shes bogs down and back fires down the intake. haven't done anything with the timing but sounds like the timing is of.
out on the road shes seems fine really only ones in a while only if i putting my foot down she will bog down but soon pick back up.
any ideas any one????
does seem to be getting better the more i go out in her, so could it just be the computer learning the new air intake
thanks guys

it's running lean because the maf will register less flow than there is because of your larger pipe. Needs tuning.

Needs PROM tuning, either on dyno rollers or just by driving, datalogging & tuning.

still running bad guys
played around with the timing advanced her by 2 degrees and altered the idle. shes running better when hot but in till then she stumbles when driving at a constant speed and stalls a lot when at low speeds like reversing.
i did disconcert the maf and she seems to run a lot better but dint go out for a drive just moved her up and down the drive.

no. Is it the car you have listed under your name? You have a supercharger on the car? How was it tuned for that?
Not to sound rude but if you have to ask this question then jumping into tuning might be a steep learning cure for ya. Or you might catch on quick. With that said here is a good start for you to read.
