Relocated A/C compressor

Im wondering if anyone has ever relocated the A/C compressor down lower on the serpentine bracket. I'm getting rid of my AIR system (I'm well aware of the legal issues), and I want to clean up and simplify the engine bay. To me the A/C system is the biggest eyesore in there. So has anyone attempted to relocate the A/C compressor, lines, etc?
