Disconnecting FP oil switch
Would there be any negative side effects to disconnecting the harness that powers the fuel pump via the oil pressure switch at the back of the block?
I want to install a sending unit for my aftermarket oil pressure gauge however the port at the front of the block does not have enough clearance.
I am under the impression that the only problem that could arise from disconnecting this switch is I would be stranded in the event of a FP relay failure. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
