88 iroc 305 to ls1 swap from a 99 trans am?
im not positive this is the right place to post this but i found a 99 trans am with 98k on it that this guy is selling for 2500 obo. it has some body damage from a minor accident but he said it runs and drives 100%. would i be able to swap the drive train over to my busted 305 iroc without any problems? to my understanding it would be a direct swap because ive seen build threads on here using all the same parts from 4thgen camaros in 3rdgens.

Thats one hell of a deal for a LS1 4th gen. I'm guessing its auto? But to answer your question, yes you can swap the drive train over. Few modifications here and there but over all its a direct swap. Just look in the LSx threads for all you questions.
