Wire next to o2 sensor wire

Hey guys i have a 1991 formula firebird with 305. theres a wire that comes from the same place as the o2 sensor wire its unplugged and id just like to know what it is. replies will be appreciated thanx.

Likely the fan switch... check to see if something between the #6 and #8 spark plugs is missing its wire.

I'd bet on oil pressure switch right above oil filter

very interesting i have this same wire coming out of the plastic shroud exactly next to the 02 sensor wire and niether my temp guage or oil guage seem to work,maybe its one of those and just came unplugged.thanks

The last 2 wires that come out of the driver's side harness are the O2 sensor and the temp sending unit wire. Sender is located inbetween cyl #1 and #3.
