Starts only when I crank it while givin it a lil gas,then I have to keep the revs up or it will stall.Smells too rich and upon first start and a lil blue smoke comes out that smells like gas.I replaced TPS,MAF burn off relay,fuel pump relay,cap,rotor,ign coil,and still no start.It has started once or twice and ran fine so I am done guessing. HELP PLEASE,also it only has 60000 original miles and is stock and has until now sat in storage since 1999.

 

what did you do to prep it before you tried to start it? was there any gas in it?

have you pulled any codes?

 

I didnt prep it ,I bought it from a muscle car dealer and it did run beautiful for a month or so and now this starts bout 2/3 weeks ago.It still does run and drive great WHEN it does start.I have no code reader nor does the engine light come on?

 

Do you have the digital dash in this car? Curious.....if you do, where does the engine light appear?

 

It does not have the digital dash, I am wondering if the timing could be off or maybe the plugs are needing to be replaced? I am a backyard mechanic and not a pro so.........

 

leaky injectors might cause your issue. have you done any fuel pressure tests?

 

I'm going to drop it off at a shop on Monday,I just drove it for the last 2 hours and it ran great,got home and let it sit for awhile and ...............Bam,no start again. I GIVE UP!
