Hey guys/gals, need some help. Ive researched quite a bit on here and have had no luck with getting my car to run. It will run on starting fluid and by squirting fuel in the TB. Fuel pump runs, pressure is good. Installed new HEI module to regain spark to the coil. This car has sat for a few years. Every so often I would charge the battery and get it running with no problems. Then one of the times I had it running, it died and took awhile to restart. Found out there was no spark going to the coil. Thats why it has a new HEI module. Now, she wont run on her own. Strange thing is, when the key is on, my fan cycles on and off and the SES light flashes in sequence. This is before I try to start the car. Its almost like its in diagnostic mode, with out the code 12. I hooked up a noid light to see if injectors were firing, they intially do but then quits flashing. If I keep the engine running by squirting fuel in the TB and rev it a little, I will get an occasional bright flash from the noid light. Im losing my mind on this one, especially with the SES light and cooling fan cycling.... Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

if it sat for a few years, have you tried some fresh gas?

 

The gas that I'm squirting in the TB is from the fuel rail... Starts right up with that.
