oil pump question
I'm running a stock set up on my 70's 350 that's going in my camaro. My question is where should i weld the pickup to the pump? I mean what location should it be facing?

Re: oil pump question
I always braze mine on I don't know if welding might warp the plate. Just something to think about.

Re: oil pump question
Depends on what type of welding.... a wire type, no problem; a torch, .... maybe brazing is better.
I've used both with good results. Brazing has the advantage of being reversible, but is weaker.
