Just bought a 1984 camaro z28 with a chevy 350 swap. Has edelbrock 1406 carb and performer intake. I am having some minor problems would like some help on getting them sorted out.


I have no idea what 350 motor is in it and I need it timed so not sure where to set the timing at.

Then the other problem I have it starts up sounds great in park I drop it into Drive and it starts to idle and bog a little bitch and when I turn the wheel it dies out. any ideas what this could be?

Then check it with your "light" (will probably appear to be completely off in the outer ozone layer somewhere) and write it down so you can put it back in case somebody thinks they know better what theh engine needs than the engine does.

Give the engine what it wants.
