Hey guys, I was wondering what the best intake for my 305 l69 engine would be? I have a lunati cam on the way and a magnaflow high flow cat 2.5 inch exsaust with a magnaflow muffler with hedman 1 5/8 headers I would like to see some power gains and be able to fit under the stock 84 steel hood thanks again

It's not the bottleneck, therefore changing it won't accomplish anything.

Why are you downsizing your exhaust?

 

Stock was 2.75 but it was all rusted out junk, so I got it re done in 2.5 not the best idea but it still sounds good it has a high flow cat and headers where is the bottle neck? I didn't see 3 in exsaust giving me much benefit on my 305 just making it sound outrageous and to loud

 

other then exsaust and cam where can this 305 pick up a few more ponies, I was reading that smaller exsaust would increase low end torque, i'll pick up an underdrive pully for it aswell
