So my car has been sitting for almost 3 years now (thank you military, marriage, new house, etc.), and I want to get it up and going this summer. My mods are in the sig. I tried firing it up, and it will run when I give it some gas but it will absolutely not idle on its own. I'm guessing it's due to the old gas. Here is what I am thinking I should do before I drive it around:

- Oil change (3 years old)
- Drain fuel (3 years old)
- Change rear diff fluid (3 years old)
- Check spark plugs (should be good, but not sure how old they are)
- Check timing
- Tweak carb for highest vacuum
- Grease suspension (including Spohn parts)

Anything else I should do? Would the carb need a quick rebuild if it's not leaking?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and I'm looking forward to finally getting back into this!
