New Guy

Hello, i have just bought a firebird formula from 89 and this is my first car ever and lately i have had trouble with it. I am completely clueless with most mechanics involving cars, and i am hoping to learn as i go. When i start my car, and turn the key, it will stall most of the time. Sometimes i even hear a clank or some noise that scares me, haha. Do any of you have information on what is going on? Thanks.

Re: New Guy

Welcome, sorry that is a pretty vague description of what is going on.

Maybe try and get a video with good audio of the noise, and maybe narrow it down to where it is coming from and we might be able to help a little bit more.

Goodluck with the new car. Post some pictures.

One more way to learn about your car would be manuals. Using this forum and auto manuals for your car will help a lot.
