I don't really know where to post this but I have an 88 firebird formula 350, the code on the front passenger plate reads k1019fsc. I know K is for where it was made, 10/19 was the date I think but I can't find any info on the fsc suffix code...can anyone enlighten me?

 

try this site. click on parts id, then suffix codes. www.chevymania.com i looked for a minute, but couldnt find FSC. there is fsb and fsd. hope it helps.

 

So I managed to find another person with the same problem and he later found out that it was a crate motor...could this be what the suffix code is for? Also I pulled the timing cover cause it was leaking and it has a double roller timing chain
