white exhaust smoke problem
Have a 1992 rs with a 350 sbc with edlebrock 1406 carb. Recently bought a mallory 4309 fuel regulator. I have yet to adjust to correct psi...but regardless of how much pressure, the car has white smoke that smells like fuel blowing out of dual exhaust. Timing is set by ear, no misses. but when the engine runs off of primed amount of fuel...it doesn't have white smoke. Kinda stumped....oil is not milky and antrifreeze is clear of any oil mixture.

Re: white exhaust smoke problem
Found out my #1 plug is not firing. Used a spark tested but it doesn't work. Any suggestions on what I should check to see if I'm getting spark? This may be related to the fuel smell but the smoke still has got me stumped. I have noticed a leaky header gasket. Has a bit of oil in it but I'm not blowing blue smoke.
