Timing or fuel issue
I just finished putting a mild 355 in my daughters 91 bird. It idles great, rev's good w/o a load, Put in gear and it starts backfiring through the intake. I have checked timing, many-many times, checked for crossed wires more than 5 times. When I unplug the timing advance wire it is right on the money from where I set it @ 4BTDC. Shut the car off and plug it back in and the initial timing is @ 20+/-. I don't have an adjustable timing tight. Is the computer bad or am I missing something. Please help.

Re: Timing or fuel issue
Timing is doing what it's supposed to
It's lean
Get it a pair of 350 injectors (assuming it's TBI - ???) and a 350 chip
