Main/Rod Bearings?

I am rebuilding a small block chevy (87+ 1 piece rear main style) out of a 1997 K1500. Crank was polished. Running the CC 276HR cam (5,500-5,600ish should be the maximum RPM). Also setting it up to get sprayed with a 100 shot occasionally.

Anybody have any suggestions on what brand bearings to go with? Or what material?

If anybody wants to be really cool and provide me a link or part number, here's a link to summit's SBC main bearings:

Re: Main/Rod Bearings?

I put these in my 98 vortec block. Fit great and all measured out perfectly.

Re: Main/Rod Bearings?

I run H series clevite bearings in everything. I went with coated H series bearings in my 383.

Re: Main/Rod Bearings?

Thanks guys, I've been talked into a set of King bearings. Going to confirm with the engine builder tomorrow when I pick up the block. Gotta pick his brains about which rings to run anyway lol.
