I took my 350 tbi to get an oil change at speed lube before work.
Watched them put in oil because I lost an firebird to them forgetting.
Drive home, turn the car off oil guage says 60. Cut it on drive 8 miles to work,
Car started smoking thought maybe they spilled oil on the engine.
Get to work, check the oil its empty. Get them to look at it, and it's leaking
By the oil filter, squirting out when the engine is on. He thinks its a missing sensor
Any ideas before they look at it in the morning?

Looking at it would be the first step.

Most cars don't have a sensor near the oil filter. Most likely, the rubber gasket from the old oil filter stuck to your block, so now it's double-gasketed, which leaks like hell.

When they pull the filter off the car, stand there and watch it very carefully to make sure they don't "hide" the 2nd gasket as they take things apart, if that is in fact the problem.

I've also had a seal on the oil filter warp as I put it on... Inspect the oil filter as well

Some reason I accidentally posted two threads but the others are saying the same.
