Hi guys.... read my CEL codes and i only have 1... its code 15.. i already changed the CTS and now im a little lost... i disconnected the battery for more than 30 seconds and i still have the code.. any ideas? could it be the connector? it looks in good conditions... i have a new one if needed

88 camaro 305 TBI Bone Stock...
5 speed manual

dont tell me to search... i already did... no help

Yes def could be the connector. Go ahead and swap it out, do the best neatest possible job of it (solder the wires, use heat shrink on them, tape over that) to prevent future trouble.

Soldering is easy, and the gun is fairly cheap too.

If you want to check if it is the connector or not, just do your twist or crimp it together for the test, but the best way to do it is solder.

But make sure they connections inside the connector are clean (no rust or anything) and that male connectors on the CTS are in good shape too.
