Intermittent starting issue help! please
so once again my camaro is giving me trouble......
okay sometimes it will start other times not.
so i tested the starter (jumped it) and ya it spins.
i traced the purple wire from the starter through the firewall to the clutch safety switch and THIS IS WHERE IT GETS WIERD!!
it splices into two wires, and one goes up into my dash and the other goes to my switch....
i poked around and found a third purple wire! WTF it comes from close to the door jam. its not connected to anything but it has some sort of terminal..
yet when i put the third purple wire in the starting relay in the empty spot it starts??
what do i do?

Re: Intermittent starting issue help! please
Well first off, somebody did a REAL shi**y job at splicing the wire lol
Ive found, as im sure alot of others would agree with this, that an intermettent electrical problem is usually a bad connection.
If you see where the third purple wire has a terminal, and it fits in the starter relay, and it starts like that, id say you found your problem.... Right?
