ive had five 3rd gens. 1 was a 305 tbi and the rest where L98s. and i was just random searching in craigslist. and i saw some dealer advertising a Firebird trans-am convertible, specs say its a 5.7. but i know their is no 5.7 convertible, i just assumed they made a mistake(like all people on craigslist that see a tpi and assume its a 350) well the add whit the trans am shows the vin number. and the eight digit is a 8 instead of a F....so is this some kind of secret super rare l98 convertible? or is it the weed in me making retarted?

Might be an"aftermarket" conversion and not a factory/dealer sent to asc conversion.what year or vin number would be nice to see.also i wouldnt advertise being a stoner...just saying.
