Can anyone help me identify the following Chev pistons?
Answers for I have TRW pistons for a Chev. TRW number 216-99 is cast on the inside of the piston. The following two chevy part numbers are stamped on the pistons: 3959456 and 3942545.

Thanks for the information. The picture of the 1970 Lt-1 pistons match my pistons exactly. The pistons came in a replacement shortblock from GM that was purchased from Chevrolet in 1976 to replace a 302 block that blew up. The engine block is casting number 3970010 with a 1976 casting date. The crank has a casting number of 1182 and had a windage tray. As a replacement block, it didn't have any engine code or vin number stamped on the engine pad or anyother place on the block. The block was less than one year old when the car was wrecked and has been sitting ever since. Luckily it was well oiled and is in excellent shape.
