replacing injectors

I have replaced the injectors in my 88 trans am, I have a question. I am now at the point of putting things back togethor, can I leave the cold start injector disconnected to do the pressure test for leaks? If it isnt connected to power it shouldnt open and allow gas to drip out, correct?

thanks in advance

Re: replacing injectors

Correct. But connecting the fuel line to the rail is a bit of a PITA. Pushing the electrical connection on is a piece of cake.
