Roller rocker need what else?

If i install roller rockers in my gen 1 sbc 305, do i need to change push rods? or can i just take the valve covers off and install them right there no hassle...

It should be a straight replacement, without having to alter pushrod length. .

Why would you just want to put roller rockers and change nothing else? The real benefit IMO of roller rockers is they allow you to run a roller cam!

cuz cam/spring/chain/sprocket kit is out of my budget this year. next year i'll take care of the rest. tackling horespower one paychech at a time!

Rocker type has no connection to cam type; can run roller rockers with either flat tappet or roller , hyd or solid cams

Maybe you are confusing rockers with lifters.........?
