No AC
I know this is probably simple but im only 17 and have no idea what to do. My air conditioning doesnt work and instead of fixing it i was gonna get rid of it. Only problem is i dont know what i would have to do with the belt because it goes aroun the compressor. Any Ideas??

If its not a race car,fix the A/C. Your better half will thank you.
If not do a search, plenty of info here.

Re: No AC
If you don't want to fix it - do nothing.
Then compressor only uses power when the clutch is engaged.
It takes only a small amount of power to spin the pulley when the clutch is not engaged.
There would be no reason to remove the compressor.
If you don't want the clutch to ever engaged you could just not turn on the a/c or defrost.
Or remove the plug on the compressor.
