Re: Broken Dipstick

Driver's side into the head or passenger side into the bottom of the block near the oil pan?

Re: Broken Dipstick

I had this happen to me on my 350 Camaro. I ended up going to the Chevy dealer and ordering a new one. Cost me like $49, but I couldn't find any aftermarket one to fit. You should be able to get the old one out pretty easy IF you can get to it. If it's on the passenger side like mine, it will be a PITA! They just press into the block by the way.
