Will this 350 swap work with my TPI?

Hey guys will this 350 work with my TPI? I currently have a 305 tpi engine. I have a Edelbrock tpi intake and polished/ported slp runners and ported plenum. Here are the specs for the 350. I can pick it up new from a friend for 2,000. Any help would be appricated.

What will I need to do to use my computer?

Re: Will this 350 swap work with my TPI?

1. Any "400+ HP" 350 will have a cam unsuitable for TPI.

2. That motor says it has Dart iron Vortec heads; your TPI base plate won't fit it.

3. Again on the heads, they most likely don't have the EGR passage, and without a working EGR, you won't pass inspection.

In short, doesn't look like the right motor for you.
