so i got a 91 camaro 305 with 8k miles it was sitting about 4 months and i took it to the car wash washed the motor drove it about a mile and it started idleing up and down then died. It will start right up EVERY time but die and IF i can get it to run for a min. when you put it in gear it dies. Its been in the shop 4 weeks and they are lost. any advice i could give them would be great

 

Might have gotten water in the motor, but most likely got a sensor wet.

Washing your engine with water is a big no-no, degreaser and a rag works good
