Connections (LG4 motor) - where should these go?

I'm doing a mild restoration on a 1984 TA that I bought in March and now at the point of trying to figure out where the two electrical connections (one is gray and the other light tan) pictured below should fit. The area shown in the photos is the forward part of the valve cover on the passenger side. (The car does not have an AIR pump, and my limited knowledge tells me the pump is vacuum and would not use connections like these, so I'm at a loss where they should fit.) Engine runs well, but I would like to return the car to stock. Thanks in advance for any advice!
