Not 100% but I think it goes to the smog stuff on the pass side of the motor

Okay, thanks. So from that diagram, the top one is supposed to go to the breather and pcv valve, and the bottom goes to the canister. I'll have to check the canister, but don't remember any open ports on the canister so I'll see what else is connected incorrectly.
I noticed the diagram is for an 85-89, any differences on a 92?

sorry, The top hose is the crank case breather it goes to the rh valve cover.
the diagram for the evap is the same
